Adam was furious about the thief that entered the camp last night and demanded and wanted to enter the city of Cynopolis to find the thief. Standing in front of the forces of Adam, half of all Cynopolis' city guards and para-city guards, standing in battle formation.The rest are all in the city been recalled to active duty. Riding out to greet Adam was Anubis and Ammit. Together that is up to two thousand soldiers.
Adam's soldiers were also in formation, as Adam demanded for Anubis to open the city gate and let his men in.
"Cynopolis got it rules, brother, without the order of our father, no outside army may enter." Anubis said
"I don't care what is your rule! There was a thief. I will take this city by force, if I need to!" Adam yelled
"You really want to fight? I am prepare for it. Give me the time and I will find the thief myself, but if you try to take this city by force, don't you dare think, I will hesitate." Anubis said
Adam was angry and gave his soldier the order.
"Ammit" Anubis said
"Yes Sir." Ammit respond and made a hand signal.
In battle formation, every city guard of Cynopolis was ready to fight, the first platoon two squares of twenty five stand in the front, the first two line of those two square raise their shield and had their spear raised. The third, fourth and fifth line are archers, each with the arrow drawn. The second platoon run backup for the first platoon. Standing right behind them in two squares, one at the left, the other at the right. Third and fourth platoon stand in the same formation, next to the first and second platoon. The fifth platoon stand in the back, prepare to run backup for the first, second, third and fourth platoon. The first company stood on the front left, the second company on the front right. The third company stood behind the first company preparing to be their backup, the fourth company stood behind the second company, preparing to be their back up.
"I've got an entire Division and you got only one regiment, you think that you really got enough?" Adam said
"I got more reserves, in the city. In addition, may I remind you, your soldiers are logistic. Mine are combat. Give me time and I will find you, your thief, but if you try to run this city by force, you better prepare yourself for a fight. Angrily, Adam ordered for his soldiers to stand down.

The military got way more herb then it actually need. The city of Cynopolis got enough medical herb, but its nearby village that is a different story. We need to first find out what sort of diseases the stolen herb can cure and check the villages to see whether there are wide spread of those diseases in those villages. But first, we need to get rid of Adam and his army Division." Anubis said
"Find some gangsters, put the blame on them, say they steal the herb to be sold in the black market. Cut on their tongue, so, they cannot speak to defend themselves and execute them in front of Adam and his army." Anubis said
"Yes, my Lord" Ammit replied. "But, how many gangster, should we captured?"

The thugs was been tied up and thrown in front of the army of Adam. the city guards brought forward private herb of Anubis palace, which Eve gave to the city guards, to used to put the blame on the thugs. The city guards claim for these to be the herbs stolen by the gangsters, from the military camp, to be sold on the black market and place it, in front of Adam's army.

Anubis ordered for the mobsters' to be tied up and all four of their limbs been chopped off. Afterwards, the mobsters son and daughters were arrested, their sons was been put on trial by the men of their village and their daughters was been put on trial by the women of their village, if their sons and daughter are found guilty to be thugs by the people of the village. They will be tied up in front of their mobster fathers.

A few minutes later, the powder started taking affect, Anubis fall to his feet, not able to think clearly. The soldiers saw Anubis
"My Lord!" the soldiers were quick to yell. They rushed to Anubis' side and help him to his feet.
"Get the witch doctor!" a soldier quickly said
"No, wait, its OK." Anubis said, Anubis knows about the succubus powder and good night of sleep and the powder will be out of his system, but calling the doctors and reveal that the powder is that of the Amazons, Anubis is not sure what sort of further problem it might cause. "Just get me some water" Anubis said
"Yes, My Lord" the soldier said.
The soldiers did as they were told and fetched Anubis water. A little while later, Ammit arrived.
"Bring an army carriage." Ammit said
"My Lord, army carriages are for military logistic use only, they are limited in numbers." the soldier said
"I understand, find a carriage that can be spare, if there are any trouble. I will take responsibility for it." Ammit said
"Yes, my Lord" the soldier said
A little while later, the carriage came. Ammit helped Anubis onto the carriage. Ammit drove the carriage back to Anubis' palace. Outside the palace, there was soldiers on guards and next to them, is Anubis' wife, Eve.
Eve stood outside the palace gate, waiting for her husband's return. She is nineteen years old, three years younger then Anubis.
Ammit came to the palace with Anubis on it.
"My Lady" Ammit was quick to get off the carriage
"What happened." Eve was quick to say
"I am fine, its just some powder, I will be fine, tomorrow." Anubis said
"Quick, help our Lord inside." Eve was quick to say
"Yes, my Lady." the handmaids inside the palace said and started helping Anubis inside
Eve helped, Anubis into their room.
"My Lord." Eve said with a worry look in her eyes.
"Water, I need water." Anubis said weakly
"Quick, go grab water." Eve quickly said
"Yes, my Lady" the handmaid quickly said and went to fetched the water.
The handmaid return with the water and Eve quickly fed it to him.
"My Lord." Eve looked at her husband with worry "Fetch the witch doctor now." Eve turned to the handmaid.
"No" Anubis quickly said
"But..." Eve tried to speak but Anubis stopped her, he turned to the handmaids and other people in the room "Leave us"
"Yes, my Lord" The other people left the room.
"Eve, listen to me, this powder, is the succubus. I just need to sleep it off and I will be fine tomorrow, but if the news got out that the succubus powder is been used, my father, would not take it lightly. My father fear the Succubus for a reason, they are the assassins of the Amazonians and he wiped them out. If he learned of this, he would send his entire army, to genocide this city and by then, even I can do, nothing to stop it. Someday, I will become pharaoh and when that day come things would be different, but for now, news like this, should not go beyond the two of us." Anubis said

"Water" Anubis said
Eve quickly, brought Anubis more water, for him to cool down.

They met during the era, where Michael was letting loose his insane genocide upon the city of Cynopolis. Anubis, Ammit and Ma'at rode back to the city of Cynopolis to end the genocide. The ordinary soldiers were quick to seize all killing activity right after receiving the order to end the genocide. The Templar also ended their killing. But the high Templar are thugs. As Anubis and Ammit rode down the streets of Cynopolis to oversight the end of the genocide. They saw soldiers from the High Templar company still killing. Anubis and Ammit didn't gave it a second thought before they engaged to stop the ten High Templar. that was burning down a neighborhood and was about to kill a 15 years old girl. The High Templar was no match against Anubis and Ammit, in the fight and was quickly defeated
"Haven't you receive the orders, the killing is over!" Anubis said
The soldiers didn't recognize Anubis
"Who do you think you are, how dare you interfere with the High Templar" the corporal said
Anubis body guards was quick to come forward and form battle formation.
"Do you recognize me now?" Anubis said with anger.
The soldiers only now, recognize it is Anubis.
"I...I am sorry, my Lord" the Corporal said
"The genocide is over. LEAVE!" Anubis said with anger
"Yes...yes, my Lord." the Corporal said and order for the soldiers to leave.
Seen the soldier left, Anubis turn to the young girl, this young girl is Eve.
"Are you alright?" Anubis asked
"Don't touch me." the girl replied with anger. "You and your kind are all alike. You disgust me."
"You..." Ammit said with a big frown on his face
"Ammit, its alright." Anubis said
Eve lost her entire family in the genocide and she had every reason, to hate all of those, whom are member of Seth's government and military. But, as Anubis govern the city of Cynopolis, he eventually won the respect and love of the people of the city.
But, Ma'at understand that to fully win the support of the city of Cynopolis, the people need to see him, as one of them and advice Anubis to marry a woman from Cynopolis. Anubis took the advice and send out the news of the plan to find a woman from this city to take as his wife.
It is during this time that Anubis met seventeen years old Eve, whom is now an apple farmer, she work on, one of the first apple farms in the world. Since the era of Osiris, people started experimenting the planting of other food, it ended when Seth took power, as the people were too busy staying alive, due to Seth's insane tax rate, but since the rule of Anubis in Cynopolis, people got time, to find other food to grow.
Part of Eve's job is to go sell the apples in the market place. Apples was a rare fruit to be sold in the market, frequently been referred to as the golden fruit, as it was rare, still been gathered via hunter gatherer. So, as one of the first apple farm, the farm were able to make lots of money.
Seventeen years old Adam, is the commander of the one army Division that is charged with the logistic supply, sending goods from the city of Cynopolis to the front line along the Southern coast of the Mediterranean Sea prepare for war with Baal. Adam is far too under qualify for this position, with no experience what so ever. But Adam is Seth's second son. The big difference between Anubis and Adam, when Anubis also got his first command as Division commander, at the age of sixteen and was far too inexperienced, he was humble to listen to the advice of his Senior Officers. Adam is not humble like Anubis, he is arrogant and proud. Fortune this is an easy mission of travelling between city states to gather goods to be send to the front line, not needing to go through enemy turf. The Division soldiers are either equipped with a woven basket and a hammer for self defense, or a shield and a spear, to protect the soldiers carrying the woven basket. With each Company there are two carriages, each pulled by two horses, the carriage is commanded and protected by one platoon of soldiers, each platoon with woven basket is protected by one platoon with spear and shield. Their mission here is to gather medical herbs that is to be used for the soldiers on the front line. The ones that was wearing the woven baskets, are female. The rest, are men.
By the order of Anubis, Adam and his troops weren't allow to enter the city and had to make camp, outside the city of Cynopolis. The soldiers of Adam made camp, outside the city of Cynopolis. Anubis ride out with one Company of soldiers to greet them.
Anubis ride his horse to the front of his army, to greet Adam whom is also in the front of his army
"Brother." Anubis said
"Brother" Adam replied "What is the meaning of this, why aren't my soldiers allow to enter?"
"Cynopolis got its own rule, without the permission of our father, no army other then the guards of the city can enter the city in arm. Sure, you are not asking your men to disarm. My men would be carrying the medical herbs out here, for your people to gather." Anubis said
"Alright" Adam replied
The soldiers started transmitting the medical herbs from inside the city, to outside, for Adam's men.

Horus and Neith, decided to steal from the herb transportation, where it is most vulnerable. It was late at night, Horus and Neith dressed in black clothing, they managed to evade the soldiers' watch and sneak into the camp.
"These soldiers are just doing their job, don't kill them." Horus whispered to Neith
"Alright" Neith whispered in response.
"Who is it!" Two soldier heard something.
"Sorry my Lord, I am a little bit lost." Neith said sounding a bit like flirting.
"This is a military operation, you are not allow to be here. Placing you under arrest." one soldier said
As the two soldiers moved forward, Neith was quickly to respond, naturally the two soldiers were no match against Neith. Worrying that Neith might hurt them, Horus was quick to help, and threw powder to the face of both. The two soldiers soon fall under a deep sleep.
"Succubus?" Neith said pointing to the powder Horus used
"No" Horus said
"Look like the powder use by the Succubus." Neith said
"I change the formula to make it a sleeping powder, are we going to get some job done or stand here and argue." Horus said

Horus and Neith sneaked passed many guards and went to be in front of a tent, with four guards. Neith and Horus attacked two guards from behind and blow powder to their face. The two guards fall asleep. Two other guards attacked them, Neith and Horus also took down the two guards in three moves, blow powder to their face and put them to sleep. Horus and Neith entered the tent
The tent was full of woven baskets that are full of medical herbs.
Horus took a piece of cloth out of his pocket. Upon the cloth were drawing of the herb that is needed
"This is the cloth that Serket drawn for us, it contain the herb that is needed to cure the plague. Let's split up and look for it." Horus said
"Alright" Neith said
Neith and Horus started looking through the many woven baskets and start finding the herb that match the drawing.
When they found it, they quickly started to fill their own woven baskets with the herbs.
"Let's go" Horus said, when they had enough herbs
But when they exit, the soldiers that come for guard change, arrived and saw the four soldiers that was asleep
"Intruder! Sound the alarm!" One soldier yelled.
One soldier rushed to sound the alarm, the other three soldiers rush into the tent, just as Horus and Neith was exiting. Horus and Neith was quick to knock out all three soldiers, but the alarm was been sound.
Soldiers was running towards their direction. Seen the situation, Horus was quick to throw his woven basket towards Neith.
"Take the herbs and get out of here. I will cut them off." Horus said.
Neith hesitated for a second
"Go" Horus said
Neith quickly climb onto the trees and using the Amazonian skill she is familiar with swing from one tree to the next, using rope and escaped.
Horus quickly grabbed a long staff and knocked out the few soldiers that was coming his way. These soldiers are logistic, not combatant, much easier to handle and if Horus is able to take on Special Forces and come out on top, logistic should be easy enough for him. But, even so, they got the advantage in number. Horus was able to use his staff and quickly knock down any soldiers that come his way in only one move. The soldier would be able to capture Horus, if they group together first and attack together. But they weren't expecting a fighter of Horus' standard.
"Dame YOU!" Adam screamed, charging forward with his bronze swords.
But Adam's fighting skill isn't even half of Horus. Despite also been trained as a warrior since childhood, Adam's skill is what you expect from a student that come last in class.
Adam try to attack Horus repeatedly with his swords. Horus was quick to dogged to the side and smacked Adam on the back with his staff and another kick that make Adam fall to the ground. After Adam fell, Horus thought Neith must have gone far enough and also escaped.
"After him!" Adam yelled, but the soldiers struggle to find Horus.
As Horus escaped, him came across the one person that is able to catch up to him. Anubis.
"You are under arrest thief." Anubis said
"Thief? That is what you men of Seth, consider this to be?" Horus said
"The city of Cynopolis is prosper, I made sure of that, who are you." Anubis said
"None of your business." Horus replied
"In that case, I need to arrest you." Anubis said
Anubis attacked Horus. Horus and Anubis started fighting each other. The two men exchanged over sixteen moves, but neither one can get the upper hand, in hand to hand combat. Anubis isn't a genius like Horus, he attended a different warrior school from Horus and completed level six and level five training each in five years. He started his training at seven years old and completed level five training at sixteen, he started his level four training at seventeen and completed it at the age of twenty one. For his level four training, Anubis major in military strategy and hand to hand combat and minor in witchcraft.
The basic combat style of Anubis' warrior school, from level five and level six training, is a combination of kicking, punching, knee, elbow, dogging and blocking, similar to modern kick boxing.
Within his level four training, Anubis learned three types of hand to hand combat styles. including a kick base martial art and a punching base martial art, building upon what he already learn, in his level five and level six training. He also learn a fighting style focus on throwing and grappling, combining his training in the three types of martial art, he got the martial art training of thirty eight years.
Amazonian hand to hand combat martial art, for level six and level five they learn a fighting style that combine throwing and grappling. In level five training, they need to chose another one of the two fighting styles, either the one that focus on throwing or the one that focus on grappling, building upon what they already learn on their level six training.
Horus as a person that can progress at a speed twice to everybody else, with thirteen years experience in Amazonian basic fighting style is as good as having thirty six years of training in Amazonian hand to hand combat. In addition due to his training with Khnum in punching base martial art and his pre-existing training in martial arts and his ability to progress at a speed twice to everybody else and Khnum is a great teacher, he is as good as having three years training in this punching base martial art, this make Horus' training in hand to hand martial art to be of thirty nine years.
In addition, both Horus and Anubis within their school of training, they also need to learn a mild fighting style that is gentle and less aggressive, in comparison to the other combat techniques that are more fierce and aggressive. The gentle and mild fighting style is significantly less effective compare to the other more aggressive fighting style that is learned, to use this sort of fighting style against other fighting style in face to face combat, is suicide. The reason for learning this fighting style is due to it is very limited in physical demand, in comparing to the other more effective fighting style, in fact almost no physical demand, what so ever, it is ideal for those who are fragile due to old age or are wounded, surprisingly this sort of fighting style was first inspired when Osiris became pharaoh, so those who are weak and fragile are able to protect them self, as long they are not using it in a face to face fight, against warriors that are trained in the other fighting styles more fierce and aggressive, they will be fine. In addition, due to its users are usually fragile due to old age or are otherwise injured, these fighting style are also design for taking down your enemy before they can respond or even know what is going on, very ideal to be used in surprise attack. These fighting styles are similar to modern martial art form such as Tai Chi or Chi Gong.
Thus, Horus and Anubis are very much evenly matched.
"Your fighting style include both Heliopolis and Amazonian foundation, who are you?" Anubis said

The two men once again engaged in combat another eighteen moves, once again, neither side could get the upper hand.
But at this stage, Horus heard the sound of other soldiers nearby.
"I suggest you surrender, the soldier are here." Anubis said
Horus was quick to reach for his pocket to grab more sleeping powder, but realized all the sleeping powders are gone. In his other pocket there are still some succubus powder, not yet been mix in with his new formula to be changed into sleeping powder. The succubus powder can put you in a state of disarray and give men extreme strong sexual urges. Horus was quick to throw some powder towards Anubis. Anubis was quick to cover his face and wave the powder back towards Horus, whom was also quick to cover his face. Horus was quick to jumped backwards and escape into the darkness.
However, Tai Chi Masters generally admit Tai Chi can only be used for health and basic self defense purpose, Tai Chi is a more passive and gentle fighting style, not design to be used against the more fierce and aggressive fighting style, such as MMA, as they got way more fire power. While there are some Tai Chi practitioner claim Tai Chi is a most dealy martial art form, most martial art masters, including Tai Chi master say that is complete BS.
However, this doesn't mean Tai Chi is useless in a fight, just much less effective compare to the more aggressive martial art form, thus it is only good enough to be use for basic self defense. But, the passive and gentle nature of Tai Chi mean it can practice by those who are much more fragile for self defense purpose, such as old ladies and those who have pre-existing medical condition (although most Tai Chi association still make it clear that check with your doctors to see whether you are fit enough to practice Tai Chi, especially for combat) that prevent them from practicing the more fierce and aggressive form of martial arts. In this video, a Tai Chi master demonstrate how to use Tai Chi to protect yourself against boxers. However, the Tai Chi master also make it clear, using Tai Chi to protect yourself against boxer is really hard, because boxer punch hard and fast, you must have cat like reflex and very fast with your arms, with intense practice. However, most martial artist point out, most Tai Chi practitioners are doing it for health not combat, so they are ill trained to use it for combat purpose. And the Tai Chi master in this video, also point out, if you really want to use Tai Chi in self defense, you need to train with other boxers, to improve your technique. Chinese martial artists 韓飛龍 is current the only professional athletic/martial artists that is able to use Tai Chi to hold his ground in competition, against other athletic/martial artists.韓飛龍 self develop a fierce and aggressive version of Tai Chi with same level of fire power to other fierce and aggressive martial art style, but demand the same high level of fitness, as other fierce and aggressive martial art style. However, 韓飛龍's new version of Tai Chi is frequently controversial in the martial art community, regarding whether it can qualify as Tai Chi as it is heavily influence by Chinese boxing and karate.
For the time to come, Anubis kept his promise, the tax rate drop to 45%, in exchange to service to Seth, once per day, every week. Those who are to serve Seth, was brought to the outside of the city and farm the land, there was some reluctant amount certain civilians, especially in the beginning and soldiers was needed to round them up and force them to work. Ammit remain in command of the soldiers, to be used as a police force, to keep the rioters under control but, there are no further genocide and a curfew was been put in place, with the exception of the leaders of the riot that Anubis got no choice but to kill, the rest of the rioters remain untouched.
The prayer would be put in practice in standard time three times a day. Anubis would personally lead the prayer

Afterwards, it be the noon prayer, and evening prayer, that is the same, to the morning prayer. It is proven that Anubis' plan work and as the months past the fuel of the riot started to seize.
Ma'at has for a long time worry that Anubis is not able to control the military after Seth's death and that Michael would most likely kill Anubis and take the throne as pharaoh, himself, find her answer in the city of Cynopolis.
Within the capital Michael was still furious. He wants his genocide, he dream of his genocide, he desire his genocide, it make him feel powerful, it make him feel mighty, after so many years, this is the first time that Michael had the opportunity to genocide so many people and Anubis took it away from him, it make Michael really upset and bring him to the brink of tears.
Like most thugs, Michael is more or less a narcissist, so just like gangsters would label cops to be bullies for arresting them for selling women into sex trafficking, despite it is the gangsters that are doing something wrong here, so is Michael, label Anubis to be the bully, for not letting him have his beloved genocide and that make Michael both upset and angry.
So, Michael went to Seth, he said that the riot of Cynopolis is over, the people are now like a plate of sand, this is the best chance to genocide that city, as it is hard for the city to gathered as one, again.
But Anubis ain't an idiot, he is prepared for it, amount the one division of soldiers that was left remaining within the city, of Cynopolis, only the ordinary regiments remain in the city, the Templar regiment was ordered to make camp outside the city. After the situation associate with the riot calm down, two regiment was order to leave the city. The remaining two regiments, Ammit, was quick to replace their Captains, Lieutenants and Regiment commanders, with those chosen from Anubis' personal body guards.
The advantage of been Seth's son is that, there are certain things, other people would lose their head over, Anubis is able to get away with it. When Michael came with one division of soldiers to genocide the city of Cynopolis, Anubis ride out with one regiment of soldiers. Fearing that the riot would again happen within the city, Anubis order for Ammit to oversight the security of the city, to prevent rioting.
Anubis and Michael again met in front of Seth, where Anubis talk about how the people of Cynopolis pray to Seth at least three times a day and their weekly service to Seth and how dare Michael try to mislead Seth, with false information.
Michael is angered "Are you saying our lord, God Almighty could possibly make a mistake?" Michael said
"The mistake is not within our Lord God Almighty, but with you!" Anubis was quick on his feet. "Or do you think, you are able to deceive our Lord God Almighty!"
This got Michael frighten.
"Enough." Seth said "The people of Cynopolis need to be punish for their sin."
"And they have repent for their sins, father. Sure, the Lord God Almighty know that to reward those who repent and let them join you in paradise." Anubis said
Seth smiled "Yes, of course. The city of Cynopolis should be rewarded, from this day forward, Cynopolis need only pay 40% tax and should be awarded with many food and water for their service to their god almighty. But they should remember my wrath and their loyalty to me, the once a day service to me, should be replace by a sabbath, the seventh day of the week should be left to worship me. But the rest is no longer necessary." Seth said
"Thank you, father." Anubis said
"But, my Lord..." Michael said
"Are you questioning the will of our Lord, God All Mighty? Saying that he could be wrong?" Anubis said
Michael dare not to speak more and kept his silent
"No, Prince Anubis." Michael said
With that, Anubis was increasingly beloved by the people of the city of Cynopolis and Cynopolis grew wealthy. Ma'at increasingly realize how Cynopolis can be the power base that Anubis need, in case of Seth's death, if Seth passed away, before he make Anubis the horseman of war and the General of his army.
A further problem with Seth is that under his rule, the government is corrupted, the higher rank it goes, the worse to get, the same applies for the city of Cynopolis. Anubis first make a massive human resource change, to civil servants. He started by changing the leadership, with those that are good men and then the leader can change those below them and so on. For the city guards, Anubis only use people that are from the city of Cynopolis. When there are guard duties, there will be part time para-city guards working on rotation basis and the full time city guards. The para-city guard work on a three week rotation basis, so at any given time, the guard of each town, would include a sector with twenty-five city guards and twenty-five para-city guard, under the command of the Lieutenant. As for the city guards that was suppose to be under the command of the Governor of Southern Egypt, Anubis exercise his privilege of been Seth's son, and convince him, to replace them, with his own body guards, with Ammit, as their commander, as a result, the Governor is not able to control these guards, as they are all loyal to Anubis.

When Horus, Neith, Hathor and Serket enter the city, they saw a level of peace and prosperity, unseen in any other part of the known world. The four of them was quick to first check into an inn. Their next step is to find a way to infiltrate the military camp to steal the herbs that is required. Horus and Neith through talking to the people in the city realize there is a large deposit of the herb within the city, but those are reserve for the military that is travelling towards the Mediterranean Sea.
Neith, Hathor, Horus and Serket learn that in three days, one logistic army division would be travelling to the city of Cynopolis and they would be here to carry the herbs to the front line and advantage is the lack of carts, most herbs needed to be carry by soldiers, in woven baskets. The thing about the ancient world 5000 years ago, is a lack of carriage. What modern archaeology find is that building a cart without at least bronze tools are extremely expensive and in this era, bronze tools are still highly lacking. A historian from Chinese national museum once said, when he was in university, one thing he can't understand is, one of the reasons Europeans was able to defeat the native Americans, is due to the native Americans lack carts. As a result, the native American army's logistic supply was extremely costly, even all women were been drafted into the army logistic, carrying supplies via woven baskets. enemy. If the news got into the ears of Seth, it sure make him more angry, for
the people of Cynopolis refusing to submit to his will, just like sometime in
the zoo, if the alpha gorilla is a jerk, he start acting in a intimidating
manner to the other gorillas and when the zoo keeper gave the other gorilla a
fruit, the jerk start banning on his cage intimidating the other chimps with
the message “you eat that, you are dead.” But it is possible Anubis can use
that to his advantage, convincing Seth that, people with such warrior spirit,
if we can recruit them under us, it would make a world of difference.
Anubis once
again send a letter to the city of Cynopolis, it is a letter that first talk
about Anubis’ admiring of the courage demonstrate by the people of the city and
is willing to listen to what the people of the city want.
Within the
southern gate of the city, Michael had enough and ordered an attack upon the
city. A lot of soldiers died, even more civilians died. Anubis was furious and
ordered for the soldiers to retreat and if the officers refuse the order, they
are relief of their command right away and to be place under arrest. The
soldiers retreated.
A month
past, the siege within the city of Cynopolis didn’t change. The people in the
city with their rage to a boiling point attacked the soldiers.
Anubis’ initial reaction is to tell the soldiers to avoid it, but he know
that would anger the soldiers, originally they might only be in the army to
avoid paying the high tax rate, to support their family. But, been attack like
that again and again, everybody got survival instinct and it might be enough
for them to strike back. As a result, Anubis said the soldiers they can do as they
deem fit, to defend themselves, but not to enter the city. The decision lies
within the soldiers. As a result, the soldiers choice to use long stick to be
used as staff, to defend themselves against the rioters, but, would not kill
them.
Michael was
furious and send his own people back to Seth, asking for Anubis to be removed from command. Michael
made a case saying, by the way Anubis is doing thing, what is there to stop
the soldiers to again deflect to the enemy and turn against them, after that beginning,
what is there to stop further surrenders?
The truth
is that Seth is always aware of that problem. As a
result, with each Army Division, there are four ordinary regiments and one Templar regiment, attached to it. The one Templar regiment, include three Templar company and
one high Templar company attached to it.
It is the same case here. But knowing Anubis, Michael know that Anubis would not order
for the Templar and High Templar to act, leaving ordinary regiments to do as
they please.
Anubis
understand that he would need to do something and finally agree to the order of
sealing off the city of Cynopolis in siege warfare, but he gave the order saying that any
man, woman or children that wants to surrender and want to leave the city won’t
be harmed. At this stage, this is the best that Anubis can do. So, when Anubis’
people inform him of the letter that Michael send to Seth. Anubis was quick to
also send a letter to Seth. It explains of the siege warfare and how a direct
assault upon the city, would lead to much casualty rate and that the soldiers
are valuable resource that shouldn’t be waste away and the people within the
city, with their bravery they can be valuable resource if been tame to serve as
Seth’s soldiers.
But Seth
understand his son. Seth agrees that Anubis got a point, but he know Anubis got
a soft spot for the people. Seth chose to send one more army Division under the
command of Uriel for reinforcement, Anubis was relief of command and remain
only to supervise the military operation and Michael was put back in command.
However, Seth agreed with Anubis about the siege warfare and order to starve
the city into submission. Michael had the city completely surrounded and find
anyway to harass the people inside.
Within the
city of Cynopolis things was getting bad with lack of food and supplies.
Michael also poison their drinking water by putting plague into the river
stream that float into the city.
Three more months past, the city of Cyonopolis was running low on food and water. People were starving to death, but they still refuse to surrender. However, Michael know if he attack the city now, it would be easy. Michael want one thing, to genocide the city. Finally, Michael got the green light from Seth. Michael ordered the troops to charged into the city.
Michael know Seth and within the letter he wrote about how the people of Cynopolis committed blasphemy against Seth, by sheltering the gays and define his will, to save their own life.
Seth was furious after reading it, just as Michael expected. Seth face went all red kicking over a table and scream "DAME YOU!!!!!!!!!!! REVENGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! REVENGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! REVENGE!!!!!!!!!!!" And started jumping up and down like an angry gorilla.
He order Michael not only to genocide the city, but round up as many men, women and children as they can, take the children and cook them and force the parents to eat their own child against their will. Then cut the adults open, while they are still alive and slowly remove their organs, one by one.
Michael was delighted to hear of the order, his dream of genocide the city of Cynopolis finally came true.
Under Michael's orders the soldiers attacked the city and within hours, the city gate was broken down, Michael gave the order for the soldiers to kill with extreme prejudice. The people of the city fought with all their might, but was still been overrun by the soldiers. If the ordinary regiments aren't brutal enough, the Templar and High Templar are for certain brutal.
Knowing he is meaningless here in the Supervising role. Anubis, Ma'at and Ammit ride back to the palace Yahweh, to talk to Seth himself
"What! How Dare You! They...they define me....they define my will...I am SETH! Their Lord! Their God ALMIGHTY! Who are they to define my will? WHO ARE THEY!" Seth said
Considering the state that Seth was in, it is only somebody like Anubis that dare to speak.
"Father, I do not dare to denier they conducted a great evil, which is to define your will. But, image what you can do, if we can turn them towards your marvelous light. They are using their bravery for that evil way of disobeying your will, but we turn them to good, that bravery will be turned, to be used to serve the way of justice, to serve your will, maybe, even to kill the gays." Anubis said, Anubis doesn't believe anything Seth stands for is good, including gay killing, but, he need to say what please Seth, to get him to change his mind.
Seth thought for a while, along in his room, finally Seth made his decision. "Michel should not genocide the city of Cynopolis, but do whatever, he deem fit to suppress them, but excluding genocide. Anubis should supervise, to ensure that genocide isn't taking place. Amount those that survive, anybody that repent for their sin, should be allowed to live, the rest should die." Seth finally said
"Thank you father, but may I say one more thing." Anubis said
"What is it." Seth replied
"Give them a chance to turn to the way of good, let me council them and I promise in time, they will turn away from their evil ways. God is love, god is merciful." Anubis said
Seth sighed "Fine" Seth finally said
Anubis know the reasons for the riot of Cynopolis. The killing of their fellow men within the city of Cynopolis for been gay is a last straw, apart from that there is the issue of high tax rate and extreme corruption and that sometime the governments tolerate street gangs, even use them to do their bidding. Anubis asked for Seth to make him as the Prefect of Cynopolis and to allow the action of killing gays to be left up to the people of the city
"Once they turn to the way of your good and marvelous light, I am sure they will do what is good, which is to act according to your will and kill the gays." Anubis said

So, Anubis returned to the city of Cynopolis with this new order, from Seth. Michael was furious, after hearing it. The genocide he long dreamed of, is over, not long after it just began. Michael love to genocide, he loves to stand and watch his work unfold, as the soldiers kill, stab and rape, when the soldiers conducted their genocides, Michael love standing upon an alter, and watch his master piece unfold, he would love to open his two army and enjoy the glory he feel, able to squash the life of so many people, as if they are just ants, it make him feels mighty and superior. Now, because of Anubis, the genocide must end. Michael is furious and upset. he felt like he been bullied by Anubis and hopes the day to seek his revenge.
But for now, Michael got not choice but to give the order to end his beloved genocide. But, Michael still gets to kill lots of people. Seth order says not to conduct genocide, but said nothing about killing people, for example, if he is just killing one person, can Anubis call it genocide? There is a lot of loopholes and it allows Michael to kill as many people as he wants, providing if Anubis, Ma'at and Ammit cannot find an excuse to call it genocide.
Three weeks later, a further order from Seth, has arrived. Anubis is to be made the new Prefect of Cynopolis and Anubis' request was approved and replaced Michael as the commander of the two Divisions of soldiers. The first thing Anubis did was to issue the order, to assign Ammit to become his second in command to the two Divisions of soldiers, under the orders of Anubis, the soldiers gone from been a genocide force, to a policing force, killing is not allow, unless absolute necessary for the soldiers to defend them self from the rioters. the spear that was used to kill the rioters, was been was been replaced by wooden staff to be used in beating rioters. Anubis continue to repeat the message, the killing of gays, would no longer be conducted by the government, but be conducted only by the people of the city, as they deem fit. Anubis know that after this riot, even those who support the gay killing policy, won't dare to do so, thus, such promise to the people of this city, should be good enough. As for the high tax rate, Anubis proposed a new idea, that should be able to be accepted, by both Seth and the people of this city. Anubis proposed service to Seth, in exchange to decrease tax rate by half. This proposal was originally not been accepted by Seth whom scream in anger
"WHO DO THEY THINK THEY ARE!!!!!!!! HOW DARE THEY THINK SERVICE CAN MEAN REDUCE TAX!!!!!!!! I AM THEIR LORD!!!!!!! THEIR ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD!!!!!!!!!! I AM THEIR LORD AND SAVIOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEIR DUTY IS TO SERVE ME!!!!!!!!!!! THEY GOT THE TIME TO PROVIDE ME WITH MORE SERVICE THEN THEY SHOULD SERVE ME MORE!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY GOT THE TIME TO TAKE CARE OF THEIR CHILDREN, THEY GOT THE TIME TO PAY MORE TAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Seth screamed in anger, jumping up and down like a big gorilla.
In response Anubis said "If they are starving and dying, how could they better serve you, father?" Anubis said
It finally persuaded Seth, to allow Anubis' plan to be used. In exchange to decrease tax rate to 45%, the peasants must spend the first of every seven days to worship Seth and provide service to Seth, through various forms and pray to him three times per day.
“Holy, holy, holy is the lord God Almighty who was and is and is to come.” the leaders of the city would say in the prayer
“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things and by your will they were created and have their being” the peasants would need to say
Abubis came to the city of Cynopolis with two
regiments of troops and met up with Michael over here.
Michael isn’t happy to see him “Just a
reminder, you might be the son of Seth, but I am still the General of the army.”
Michael said
“And may I remind you. You might be the General of the army, but
I am also the crown prince and to that extend I outrank you.” Anubis said
“Are you here, as a Colonel or the Crown Prince of the world?” Michael said
“The crown prince of the world.” Anubis
said
Travelling with Anubis is Ma’at and his
most loyal servant Ammit.
Michael isn’t happy and he isn’t afraid to
show it, but he still acts according to formality
“My Lord.” Michael got off his horse and said
and with that gave the command staff to Anubis.
During this time, within the city of
Cynopolis tension has reached height. The soldiers that was originally send to
kill the gays, has now joined the people of the city, to riot against the rule
of Seth.
Each regiment got one thousand soldiers, Anubis and Michael together got four regiments under their command and that is four thousand soldiers. In addition there are the Cynopolis city guards that regrouped outside the city, due to not been prepared for this attack that is four thousand and five hundred soldiers.
The mob within the city of Cynopolis is no
match against such fighting force.
The people within the city made two
attempts to attack the army, before Anubis came, both time, Michael’s men
repealed them. Michael is planning to send in the troops to massacre the city.
But Anubis is currently disallowing it, Anubis know it would be a blood bath,
ultimately, the soldiers would win and burn the city to the ground, killing
every man, women and children, the beautiful women would be raped, before been killed. But it would be at high cost, to the soldiers
also. This blood bath, is something that Anubis won’t want to see, regardless
of the genocide of the city or the mass lost of soldiers that are just
following orders and most of those whom are of lower rank, only join the army,
to escaping having to pay the insane high tax rate of Seth.
Michael cannot be bother to care less, all
he wants to see is to end this riot, as soon as possible, he cannot be bother
to care less, about what is happening to the soldiers or the people within the
city.
“May I remind you, that your loyalty should
be to your father, not the peasants.” Michael said
That make Anubis furious, human are pack
animals and a pack that settle upon a land, is a tribe, the position of the
pharaoh is the Chieftain of the tribe. But, just like Seth, Michael believe in
the way of the thugs,
“And would you like to explain to my
father, why you waste away over half of his entire army Division, over nothing?”
Anubis said
“Who cares about what happened to the
soldiers, they are just tools, expendable resource.” Michael said
“Do you think I care about the life of
those soldiers, I care about you wasting away my father’s resource as if it is
nothing, my father’s valuable resource that he use to show those peasants who
is their one and only true god and Lord almighty and to punish them, when they
refuse to serve his will. What will my father use, when men like you, waste
away his entire army like it is nothing? Or has that always been your
intention, to waste away my father’s soldiers like they are nothing, until
there are not enough left, for him to hold his dominance over the peasants
anymore?” Anubis said
“That is an outrage” Michael said angrily
“In that case, prove it.” Anbuis said
Michael doesn’t dare to speak more.
Ma’at took a look at Michael, she knows
that, if Anubis is ever to become Pharaoh, people like Michael, must die,
otherwise, the second Seth died, it won’t be hard for people like Michael alike
to hold control of the military and kill Anubis.
Anubis decided, to try open the dialogue of
communication with the people within the city. Inside the city, the people has
formed their own leadership and fortify the city, ready for a siege warfare. Anubis
order Ammit, to arrange the army to hold up defense position and prepared to
try open a dialogue of communication with the city’s new leadership.
But Anubis doesn’t know how to make a
negotiation with the people within the city, to get them to lay down their arms
Not sure what to do, Anubis asked Ma’at.
“It is a tricky situation.” Ma’at said “I need
to be honest with you Anubis. If they are really going to fight, they can
really take you on for months. Now they fortify their defense, your army trying
to take the city by force, it will be a bloodbath.
But we both know you don’t want that, Anubis.” Ma’at said
“That is what I am asking you for your
help.” Anubis said
“Listen more, talk less. Figure out what
the people of the city want and understand what would it take for them to agree
to surrender the city. Afterwards, determine what you can give. Remember
Anubis, Seth made you the Prefect of Cynopolis. This is your responsibility and
if you are going to be a good Pharaoh, you are going to deal with situation like
this, in the future also.” Ma’at said
